We Travelled Across 6 Countries. Here's What Happened.

The Next Frontier Roadshow 2025 is now documented — and we think it's worth a read.

In 2025, ALBAN Global NGO took a deliberate step away from the traditional conference model. Instead of hosting one event and asking people to travel to us, we went to them. Six cities. Six ecosystems. Six genuine conversations about what cross-border innovation in Europe actually looks like on the ground.

Genova. Antwerp. Zurich. Brussels. Dubai. Tirana.

Each stop told a different story — Mediterranean cross-border flows and maritime heritage; sustainability without the slogans in industrial Antwerp; responsible capital and diaspora power in Zurich; the institutional weight of Brussels; the electric pace of Dubai; and the rising energy of Tirana, where a generation of founders is building Albania's next chapter in real time.

What Actually Happened?

Ideas were exchanged, yes. But the thread running through every city was trust — and the recognition that trust is the real infrastructure behind any meaningful cross-border collaboration.

Over 20 speakers joined us across the journey: founders, investors, policymakers, diaspora leaders, cybersecurity experts, and ecosystem builders. Names like Michiel Scheffer (President of the Board, European Innovation Council), Lode Uytterschaut (Founder & CEO, Start it @KBC), Florensa Haxhi (CEO, Durana Tech Park), Mark Turrell (Founder, unDavos Summit), and many more brought their networks, their expertise, and their honesty to the table.

None of it would have happened without the 19 partner organisations who backed this mission — from CLU Media / CLU:Swiss Security (our official sponsor) to Plug & Play, GITEX / North Star, Finindus, Factory Academia, the Swiss Albanian Network, the Embassies of Albania in Belgium and the UAE, and a full ecosystem of collaborators across Europe and beyond.

What's Inside the Chronicle?

This isn't a polished press release. It's part field report, part editorial, part ecosystem snapshot. Inside you'll find:

  • The philosophy behind the Roadshow — why we travelled, and what we learned by doing so

  • City-by-city chronicles: what happened, what was said, and what each ecosystem revealed

  • Candid speaker reflections on cross-border investment, sustainability, diaspora platforms, and European innovation

  • The matchmaking and dealmaking logic that sits beneath the surface of these events

  • A look at what's coming next — including ALBAN Global's Due Diligence Council and the Online Demo Day in 2026
